I'm a native of western Pennsylvania and have lived more
than half my life in northeast Ohio. I was born Alana Miltak in New Eagle,
Pa. I graduated from Gateway Senior High School in Monroeville, Pa., in
1967.
I'm the divorced mother of two terrific sons. My firstborn
son, Zack, works in property managment in Chattanooga, Tenn., where he
lives with his wife, Hollie. My younger son, Mikey, known professionally
as Mikey Machine, had an indie-pop-rock band called Machine Go Boom, currently plays with Megachurch, and
lives in Cleveland, Ohio.

I have made a hobby
of learning about and visiting the many Clevelands in the United States.
Whenever I'm in a Cleveland, I try to meet some of the local folks, take
pictures of signs and landmarks and pick up an indigenous stone as a souvenir
for my collection of "Cleveland Rocks." (I've dedicated a portion
of this site to this pursuit.)

I'm a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, "Star Wars"
movies and books that reveal even more about the saga's main characters,
"Harry Potter" books, ABC's "Lost," Showtime's "Dexter"
and, of course, HBO's "Six Feet Under."
